Larry, thanks for writing this book...it is a great reference for when they are playing the course. Like this week the senior US open is at Crooked Stick, so I went back and read your experience and it helped me understand the course better and made watching the Open that much more enjoyable. Still one day left...let's go Norman!
Larry, I have enjoyed reading - and re-reading - your book on many levels. It's a great, evocative, insight into all those wonderful courses; but, it has also introduced this reader to a number of other rewarding aspects of golf-related lore e.g. Golf in the Kingdom, Zen Golf etc.,
[It's great fun to compare your experiences with those of your like-minded `100' questors, and I personally also enjoy reading your take on a Club / course whilst simultaneously reading about it in the World Atlas of Golf].
